General Terms and Conditions on the Use of the Study Website

Thank you for visiting the Preventing Depression: Investigation in cohorts of its etiology and trajectory (PREDICT) website (henceforth known as "Website"). By accessing and using this Website, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the terms and conditions below (“Terms”) and unconditionally agree to be legally bound by them and any amendments thereto from time to time and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use this Website.

In these Terms, the words “we", “our" and “us" refer to the Institute of Mental Health (“IMH”) as represented by the PREDICT study team.

1. These Terms may be changed from time to time without notice. Changes will be posted on this page and your use of this Website after such changes have been posted will constitute your agreement to the modified Terms and all of the changes.

2. We may modify, suspend, discontinue or restrict the use of the Website, any portion thereof or any content at any time, with or without notice, and without liability.

Except as permitted by any written law, no part of the Website, including but not limited to information and software programmes, all text, graphics, user interfaces, visual interfaces, photographs, trademarks, trade names, logos, audio, video and computer code (“Contents") may be reproduced or re-used for any commercial purposes whatsoever without prior written permission from IMH. You may not upload or republish the material on the Website on any internet, or incorporate the information in any other database or compilation, and any other use of the Contents other than as specifically authorised herein without the prior written permission of IMH is strictly prohibited. You are not permitted to use the Website for any data mining, robots, scraping or similar data gathering or extraction methods.

4. None of the Contents may be modified, copied, distributed, framed, reproduced, republished, downloaded, scraped, displayed, posted, transmitted, or sold in any form or by any means, in whole or in part, without IMH's prior written permission.

5. Any unauthorised usage of the Website and its Contents may be considered an offence under any relevant laws (including, but not limited to, the Computer Misuse Act 1993, the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 or the Cybersecurity Act 2018).

6. The materials displayed in or communicated via the Website, including the Contents are protected by copyright, trademark and other forms of proprietary rights. The intellectual property rights in the Contents are either owned by, licensed to, or controlled by IMH or the National Healthcare Group (“NHG”). “National Healthcare Group" or “NHG" or “IMH” and other graphics, logos, designs, page headers, button icons, scripts and service names are registered trademarks, trademarks or trade dress of IMH, NHG or of the NHG institutions / NHG affiliates and may not be used, including as part of trademarks and/or part of domain names, in connection with any product or service in any manner that is likely to cause confusion and may not be copied, imitated, or used, in whole or in part, without prior written permission.

7. The use of the Website is at your own risk.  Contents of this Website are provided on an "as is" and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind. You will not hold us responsible or liable for your use of the Website. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not represent, warrant or guarantee in any way that:
